Just a quick note. RTCC 2010 was notable due to the fact that it rained on us for probably 60-70% of each day. While I would have liked to provide insights from the road, I suspect my blackberry would have shorted out within a few minutes. So... it stayed in a ziploc bag for almost the entire journey.
For now, I'll note that WE DID IT! We crossed the finish line around 3 pm yesterday (under clear skies... a bit of a shock).
I've made some quick notes and will add my usual entries to the blog, hopefully keeping them to the chronological order of the ride. Check back in a couple of days and I should have something there for your enjoyment.

- As a long-time Toronto resident and cyclist, I've been able to combine my inclination towards "good works" and personal challenges by riding in the "Ride to Conquer Cancer", a 200+ km, 2-day cycling trip from downtown Toronto to Niagara Falls.
Aside from the personal challenge, the Ride is a key fund-raising initiative of the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, one of the top five cancer research hospitals in the world.
I've cycled both the inaugural Ride to Conquer Cancer in 2008 and the 2009 edition. 2010 brings a new challenge -- I'm going to be riding a new 200 mile route.
I'll be using this blog primarily to capture some thoughts and an image or two on the road to the Falls.
